New Conference Format

To create more meaningful regular-season games and a competitive playoff experience, most divisions will be divided into North and South Conferences.

Teams will compete primarily against opponents within their conference throughout the regular season, with a limited number of crossover games.

At the conclusion of the regular season:

• The top three teams from each conference will qualify for the playoffs.
• Conference champions will advance through a structured playoff bracket with the opportunity to compete for the BAHL Championship in their division.

This format promotes balanced competition, meaningful standings races, and exciting postseason matchups throughout the season.

Registration

Registration is open to returning teams, new teams, and free agents.

Team Registration

• Returning teams and new teams will register using the same team registration portal.

Free Agent Registration

• Individual players may register as free agents to be placed on an existing team or one of our BAHL Free Agent Teams if enough players register within the same division.

Whether you're competing for a championship, forming a new team with friends, or stepping onto the ice for the first time, the Blackhawks Adult Hockey League offers an organized, competitive, and welcoming environment for every player.
